Dan Harrison – Senior Pastor
Dan Harrison has been the Senior Pastor at W3CU since 1982. His primary focus at this point in his life is to love God and to love people. He says, “If I can do those two things well I will count myself a success in life no matter what else happens or doesn’t happen.”
Dan was born in Hillham, Indiana. He began attending the Hillham Church of Christ in Christian Union and in 1970 was saved alongside his father and brother. Shortly afterwards his mother was also saved.
In 1972, after graduating from high school, Dan enrolled in Circleville Bible College. Following graduation and his ordination in 1976, he accepted the pastorate at Plumwood Church. Four years later he accepted the pastorate at Dayton Northside Church in Huber Heights before coming to Winchester. In 1991 Dan began attending Olivet Nazarene University in pursuit of a masters degree in church management. He graduated from this program in January of 1994.
Since 1992 Dan has served as the head of the General Christian Education Department. He serves on the General Board of Trustees and since 2004 has also served as the Assistant General Superintendent. He and his wife Cheryl have two children, Chad and Ashli.
Chris Johnson – Associate Pastor
Chris Johnson is a husband, father, pastor, graduate student and aspiring writer. He is passionate about seeing the body of Christ connected to one another relationally for spiritual growth and community service. Chris, with the help and support of his wife Becky and their four children Richey, America, Skyler, and Tait, has been serving as a pastor for fourteen years and is excited about all things he has seen God accomplish during this time. Chris defines his life mission as, “To connect, inspire, and help others find their place of service and path for spiritual growth in the local church and the Kingdom of God.”
