I always try to take some time in the fall and think about the next year—it’s always interesting to me how God seems to know just the right word for the year. 

In 2023 He knew that Rest—or the kind of Rest that complete trust in Him produces would be what we needed when our building flooded after the sprinkler system blew apart.

Last year He kept showing me that 2024 was going to be all about seeing just how awesome He is—and becoming obsessed with Him—I don’t know if you’ve noticed or not, but there have been many changes here even in the kind of songs we sing—our focus is on Him—because we want people to find Him and not us when they show up here.

At the end of 2024, I feel like I see God’s goodness better than ever. And I feel like my love for Jesus has grown over the course of the year. I hope you feel the same—has God been good to you W3CU?
